Contrary to what was written in the meeting minutes this month, we will not be having a meeting to discuss finalization of the Time Trials tommorrow night. Things are pretty well settled in and ready to go. The only thing that needs to be done is for the trails to be in perfect shape for the race. Looks like rain but we will keep our fingers crossed. If you are looking for some cleaning, Van Pennen needs it. Dunnings is taken care of and will be finished by Wednesday. As far as the course goes, we will not be going down Old Randy's as we had planned to, so no need to take your chances riding down it. Direct course questions to Deke at Oneota River Cycles or just post a comment and somebody will let you know. That is about it. Get out and ride!
Tonight will be the first time trial of the year and we couldn't ask for a better April day. Come on out and enjoy the great weather, trails and all of the hoopla surrounding this event. We will begin timing at 6:30 and we will end whenever people want to stop riding. The location is on top of Palisades Park at the overlook.
Get ready for quite a challenging ride this month. The first DHPT Monthly Time Trial of the 2010 Season is on Wednesday, April 14th @ 6:30 p.m. at the overlook in Palisades Park. Be there at anytime from 6:30 on to run the course. It you are going to be later, make sure to bring a light as it gets dark around 7:45 every night! See ya there!!
There is an upcoming Sustainable Decorah Meeting on Wednesday, April 14th @ 6-8 p.m. The meeting will be taking place at Luther Baker Commons. This is great opportunity for a few of of members or more of us to represent the bicycling community at this open discussion. Hopefully some of us can make it! That is all!
Well it is again that time, April 6th at 7:30p.m. at T-Bocks if that suits everyone ok. This is definately one of the bigger meetings of the year as we are getting ready for time trials that will be less than 3 weeks away and also beginning to think about what work needs to be done. Here is what I have for the meeting agenda, anything you want to add shoot me an email or just post a comment. That's all.
Howdy all. We are going to have a work day this Saturday, April 3rd at 1 p.m. We will meet at the entrance of Palisades Park, to work on the reroute at the top of Captains. There is not a lot of dirtwork that needs to be done, mostly nipping and raking. If we can get a few people to show, it should only take a couple of hours.
